Plastic Pollution Song - 2022-01-14.m4a

Plastic Pollution Song © 2022 Mary K. Armstrong

Plastic Pollution is poisoning our world – our land, our air, our seas.

Did you hear me now?

Plastic Pollution is poisoning our world – our land, our air, our seas.

Let’s stem the tide, be part of the solution for our land, our air, our seas.

Ten Towns Initiative, that’s our campaign name – based on the power of ten.

Goal is to educate - and empower change – one - by one - then ten.

Individuals - can make a difference. Families - can then extend -

To local civic groups - schools + institutions – you see the trend my friend?

Industries, government – or even new laws – based on the power of ten.

Plastic production - has grown exponentially - since the Second World War

Most of that plastic – it still exists today - in pieces worn or torn

The tiny fragments are called microplastic – they’re found from shore to shore

This microplastic – is easily ingested – by birds - by fish - and more

Pause: Just to be clear:

‘and more’ means us, we humans, at the top of food chain.

End Pause

Come join our team – the Ten Towns Initiative – be part of the restore corps

Plastic Pollution is poisoning our world – our land, our air, our seas.

Did you hear me now?

Plastic Pollution is poisoning our world – our land, our air, our seas.

Let’s stem the tide, be part of the solution for our land, our air, our seas.
