New London - 5/31/2022 - Email from Joy - For July, we are asking the Selectboard to sign a plastic reduction proclamation. They will have their meeting June 9. Tracy Library in town says they will have a plastic reduction exhibit in July. I will be meeting again this week with the employee who has volunteered to do that to see if there is any help I can give her.

Kearsarge Climate Action(KCA), our non-profit group, passed a warrant article in 2020 at town meeting. A group of Kearsarge HS students, part of a HS Environmental group collected signatures for a 2022 New London warrant regarding single use plastic bags, which also passed.
